Forms and Quizzes with Time Limit
The Timer field in AidaForm brings time-based functionality to your forms and quizzes. Running silently in the background, it records how long respondents spend on the entire form or individual pages. You can keep it hidden, display the timer in a chosen section of the form, or even show a countdown if needed. Tracking time is especially helpful when:
- Analyzing respondent behavior: See how long people spend on each page or the full form to understand user interaction better.
- Setting time restrictions: Limit the amount of time a respondent has to complete a page or the entire quiz. This is especially useful for tests and timed assignments.
The settings of the Timer field are flexible. You can use them to measure completion times or to automatically move respondents forward when the time runs out.
Below are templates that include the Timer field. They demonstrate how time limits work in practice and can be adapted for your own forms or quizzes.
