About GDPR

The General Data Protection Regulation (EU) is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA). It also addresses the export of personal data outside the EU and EEA areas. The GDPR aims primarily to give control to individuals over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU.

As a Form Creator on AidaForm, you will get and control information from your EU respondents (that is you act as Data Controller towards your Form Respondents) and so you must be GDPR compliant. You must have your own Privacy Policy published on your website or any other resources which you use to communicate with your respondents.

Please, read the GDPR text on the official website https://eugdpr.org/ or consult your lawyer.

AidaForm is used by both Form Creators and Form Respondents. AidaForm acts as a Data Processor and Data Controller towards Form Creators, and as a Data Processor towards Form Respondents.
